Stripe Checkout WHMCS Module License Terms of Service
1. License Grant
By purchasing and using the Stripe Checkout WHMCS module, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited license to install and use the module for the purpose of integrating Stripe Checkout into your WHMCS installation. This license is for the sole use of the purchaser and is subject to the terms outlined below.
2. Permitted Use
You are allowed to:
- Install and use the module on one WHMCS installation for your own business purposes.
- Modify the module code for your own internal use.
3. Prohibited Use
You are not permitted to:
- Redistribute, resell, lease, or sublicense the module in any form.
- Share, copy, or disclose the module to any third party.
- Use the module on more than one WHMCS installation without purchasing additional licenses.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the module’s source code, except as permitted by law.
4. Support and Updates
- The license includes access to support and module updates for 1 year from the date of purchase.
- After 1 year, continued access to updates and support requires the renewal of your license.
5. Termination
- Your license will be immediately terminated if you violate any terms of this agreement.
- Upon termination, you must cease all use of the module and remove it from your WHMCS installation.
6. Adaptive Pricing and Payment Methods
- By using this module, you agree to abide by the Stripe Terms of Service, including but not limited to the use of Adaptive Pricing and supported payment methods such as Alipay and Cash App.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your Stripe account is configured correctly for Adaptive Pricing and other international payment methods. More information on enabling Adaptive Pricing can be found at Stripe Adaptive Pricing.
7. Limitations of Liability
- The module is provided “as is,” without warranties or guarantees of any kind. The author is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from the use of the module.
- You are responsible for ensuring the module works with your specific WHMCS installation and any third-party software.
8. Governing Law
- This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the author operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
9. Changes to Terms
- The author reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Continued use of the module following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
