These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the use of web hosting services provided by RackNode (“the Company”). By accessing, using, or purchasing services from the Company, you (“the Client” or “User”) agree to be bound by these T&C.

Services Provided

RackNode offers various web hosting services, including shared hosting, dedicated hosting, VPS hosting, cloud hosting, and others as described on our website. Details of these services, including features and limitations, are provided on our website or through direct communication with the Client.

Account Setup and Information

  • The Client must provide accurate and complete information at account setup and update this information promptly if it changes.
  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts due to inaccurate information.

Use of Services

  • The Client agrees to use the services lawfully and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Content Restrictions: Customers agree not to submit material that violates copyright, trademark, patent, statutory, common law, or proprietary rights of others, or contains obscene or libelous content. Hardcore adult content, pornographic websites, and software facilitating legal violations are strictly prohibited.
  • Abuse of Staff or Support Personnel: Abuse, harassment, or disrespectful conduct towards our staff or support personnel is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Payment, Renewal, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

  • Services are billed in advance. Payment terms and billing cycles are detailed on our website.
  • The Client is responsible for timely payments. Failure to comply may result in service interruption or termination.
  • Cancellation must be requested via the specified method in your account dashboard or through customer support.
  • Refund Policy: RackNode offers a 15-day money-back guarantee for first-time purchases of shared hosting services only. This policy is designed to ensure that new clients have the opportunity to evaluate our shared hosting services risk-free. The 15-day refund policy does not apply to dedicated hosting, VPS hosting, cloud hosting, or any other services beyond shared hosting. This policy is applicable to the first purchase made by a new client and does not cover additional purchases, renewals, or upgrades.
  • RackNode does not provide pro-rated or any other kinds of refunds on cancellations. All fees the Customer has paid shall be nonrefundable, unless stated otherwise under our 15-day money-back guarantee.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

  • RackNode commits to a certain level of service availability and performance, detailed in our SLA. Compensation for failing to meet these commitments is outlined in the SLA.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • The Client retains all rights to their data and content hosted on RackNode’s servers.
  • The Client grants RackNode a license to host, transmit, and manage this content as necessary for providing services.

Liability and Indemnification

  • RackNode is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using or being unable to use the services.
  • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold RackNode harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the services, including but not limited to violations of the content restrictions and abuse of staff policies outlined above.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • RackNode reserves the right to modify these T&C at any time, effective immediately upon posting on our website or by direct communication to the Client.

Governing Law

These T&C shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of united kingdom.
