This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets forth the guidelines and restrictions regarding the use of web hosting services provided by RackNode ("the Company") to its customers ("the Client" or "User"). By using the services offered by the Company, the Client agrees to comply with this AUP.
Clients are expected to use RackNode services responsibly. The following activities are explicitly prohibited:
Running Tor exit nodes or relays through RackNode services is strictly prohibited.
Hosting, sharing, or distributing copyrighted content without proper licensing or authorization is strictly prohibited. This includes pirated movies, music, software, games, and other media protected by copyright law.
Including, but not limited to, distributing viruses, worms, or malicious software; hosting pirated media; engaging in phishing or fraudulent activities; and sending unsolicited emails (spam).
All SMTP ports are blocked by default to prevent misuse and spam. If you require SMTP functionality, please submit a request for review.
SMTP ports are open by default. However, if abuse reports are received, we reserve the right to permanently block SMTP ports without further notice.
RackNode reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal and technical actions against anyone who violates this AUP. This may include suspending or terminating the Client's service with or without notice.
Clients are encouraged to report any violations of this AUP to the Company. RackNode will review and investigate all reports.
The Company reserves the right to revise this AUP at any time. Notice of any revision will be posted on the Company's website.
